Description
Condition: Very good overall. The finish has acquired an awesome yellow patina giving this guitar a great vintage look and vibe. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the finish. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. There is a very slight “back bow” on the bass side of the neck however the neck is still very straight and can be comfortable played. Truss rod functions fine. There is an extremely small hairline crack on the treble side of the neck pocket but it shows absolutely no movement and does not affect playability. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid Resonwood body in cream finish that has developed an awesome yellow patina. Stop-Bar Tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, speed control knobs and a 2-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with Ebony fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed nickel tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Zebra humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls, a coil tap switch and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 11.33K Ohms.
Bridge: 11.46K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding example of the Sonex-180 Custom. The pickups offer plenty of output however clean up very nicely via the volume control. The coil tapping switch also allows the player to dial in even more useful tones. The resonwood body provides nice sustain and resonance and the neck is exceptionally comfortable.
