Description
What makes this guitar special: A great playing lawsuit model, with biting tone and fantastic neck feel. This Japanese-built beauty is wildly resonant, thanks to a solid mahogany body and maple cap. The bolt-on construction is very well done, and the fit and finish of this piece is excellent. It comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Pretty good shape overall with expected playwear for a guitar of its age. There are various nicks, dings, dents, scratches, and scuffs, as well as some visible buckle rash, pickwear on the pickguard, and a few chips in the finish on the back of the lower bout.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound maple cap in black finish with single ply cream colored pickguard and cream colored pickup bezels. Adjustable bridge with individually adjustable saddles and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 9lb, 6.7oz
Neck: Solid maple neck with black side dots and pearl dot inlays. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in great shape, and frets show almost no visible wear at all. Original Ibanez Smooth Tuner II’s work great. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4” scale length. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the fingerboard.
Electronics: Dual Ibanez V-2 humbuckers (Bridge-14.99K ohms, Neck-15.18K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and three black speed knobs, with one replacement tophat knobs, 2x volume, 2x tone.
Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
