What makes this guitar special: 100% original & recently acquired from the original owner who kept the guitar in excellent condition over the years. Beautiful maple figuring offset by a very attractive tobacco sunburst finish. Smooth comfortable neck coupled with a pair of tasty humbuckers that deliver rich, creamy tones. Professionally set up by our own luthier, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition & very clean with only mild play wear - a few minor nicks & dings; light surface scratches. The guitar is absolute gorgeous for its age.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with very little wear & plenty of life in them. Gibson tuners with built-in string winders are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" brass nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. TP-6 tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with some pick wear, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 7.1 oz.
Pickups: Gibson black bottom humbuckers both date to '81. Bridge - 15.12K ohms; Neck - 15.39K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. 3-way pickup selector switch; 2-way coil splitter toggle. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included - also in excellent condition, although the bottom latch is missing.
