Description: Vintage 1984 G&L El Toro Electric Bass Guitar
Condition: Good condition overall. Various scratches, nicks, dings, some larger dents and weather checking throughout the instrument. There is some lacquer hazing in areas and the top has been very lightly sanded and buffed (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life left in them. The control knobs are unoriginal however they are the same kind that would have originally been on this bass. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured double-cutaway ash body in trans blue finish. G&L tailpiece with crinkle finish and four nickel saddles, crinkle finish control plate with three knurled barrel control knobs.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fiongerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. G&L open-gear nickel tuners, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Humbucking magnetic field design pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume control, active treble and bass controls, 3-way mini toggle pickup selector switch, pickup boost mini toggle and a mini toggle kill switch.

Playability/Sound: This is a highly versatile, great playing bass. The pickups offer a huge range of tone and can provide anything from a punchy bright sound, to a thick, beefy tone with tons of tight low end. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
