Description
What makes this guitar special: A real road warrior, with biting hot tone and an awesome vintage look. This explorer inspired piece features a blade pole Ibanez V5 humbucker in the neck, with a swapped DiMarzio in the bridge, for an array of tonal variance. It was definitely someone’s number one, and shows plenty of wear consistent with age, and when you get your hands on it, you’ll see why. A super comfortable neck feel and smooth rosewood fingerboard make this guitar a dream to play. Professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: This one was definitely played, and shows plenty of wear & tear consistent with years of usage. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs, with areas of finish wear and edgewear throughout. There are a handful of notable chips in the finish & wood (see photos), and the back of the neck shows some scratching as well. There is oxidation on much of the hardware, and while the tremolo arm fits, it does not lock in place. The tremolo cover also shows some scratching and residue from a sticker that was removed. Overall, this one has a cool hard rock vibe to it, and is a stellar player.
Body: Offset explorer style basswood body with string-through black chrome tremolo bridge and individually adjustable saddles.
