Description
What makes this guitar special: A great sounding guitar with a beautifully bookmatched back. The top has aged into a mellow golden color & the herringbone purfling looks really sharp. Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays great! Rich, warm tone with a sweet resonance.
Cosmetic Condition: There's a top crack extending from behind the bridge to the bottom edge. The crack was professionally repaired by our luthier & is stable with no issues. There's a screw hole in the heel cap from a previous strap button which caused a minor crack in the neck heel. This is purely cosmetic & does not affect playability. The rest of the guitar is in great shape with some minor nicks, dings & surface scratches.
Neck: Semi-chunky mahogany neck with diamond volute. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Chrome Martin tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great!
Body: Dreadnought body with bound top & back. Solid spruce top with herringbone purfling. Ebony bridge with ivoroid end pins. Black pickguard with multi-ring rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with zig zag center strip. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 10.1 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
