What makes this guitar special: A killer fretless with dynamic playability and smooth playability. The Soapbar pickups sound terrific, able to deliver anything from mellow and resonant to growly and punctuated (especially with a bit of drive). This one was definitely played in, and showcases just enough wear that you don’t need to worry about babying it. Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused, with some standard wear & tear throughout. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs present, with areas of finish wear throughout and visible buckle rash on the back of the body. The gloss finish has flattened a bit from years of use, and the finish has worn away in a small area between the pickups beneath the G-string, either from years of use as a finger rest, or picking (see photo). The hardware shows some tarnishing & oxidation as well. Overall, this one has a great look to it, with an honest patina.
Body: Contoured, double cutaway basswood body in black finish with top-loading five saddle black chrome bridge.
Weight: 8 lb, 15 oz
Neck: D-shaped maple neck with pearl side dots and pearl dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 34” scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Ibanez logo and black chrome Ibanez Smooth Tuners in perfect working order. Rosewood fingerboard with simulated fret indicators shows no pitting. Neck is straight and truss rod is functional.
Electronics: Dual Ibanez Soapbar pickups with knurled black knobs, 1x pickup blend, 1x master volume, 1x tone.
Case: Hard shell case included.
