What makes this guitar special: An early rendition of the Sheraton with Epiphone By Gibson headstock inlay. This fine semi-hollow is a superb player, fitted with a pair of dynamite sounding humbuckers & finished in a beautiful tobacco sunburst. Professionally set up by our own luthier, with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings (mostly along the body binding); surface scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it & a great vibe.
Neck: Slender profile flame maple neck with nicely aged, 5-ply binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl & abalone triangle/block inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. 5-ply bound headstock with mother of pearl vine inlay. Gold tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with bound F-holes. 5-ply bound top with Stopbar tailpiece & adjustable bridge. Tortoise pickguard with 5-ply binding has warped a bit, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 14.4 oz.
Pickups: Dual humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. Bridge - 8.05K ohms; Neck - 8.11K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with amber "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal chipboard case included.
