Description
Condition: This guitar is a great sounding player. The pickups, electronics and control knobs are unoriginal but sound excellent together. There are scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the body, neck and headstock. There are some pick scratches on the top and a few dings. There is some heavy buckle rash on the back and several dings. The back cover plate is missing. The guitar is currently equipped with a Charvel bridge which is unoriginal. A part of the pickup cover where the screw goes through cracked and has been re-glued. The original vibrato arm is missing. The fingerboard is slightly scalloped. There are no scratch marks so it’s difficult to determine if this was done in the factory, post factory or just due to play wear/shrinking of wood. The fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier play wear in the lower registers. The white finish on the neck has developed a patina/discoloration along the side of the fingerboard. All electronic and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured double-cutaway body in white finish. Floyd Rose licensed Charvel locking bridge, dual knurled control knobs with pearloid inserts and a slider switch.
Neck: Slender set neck with lightly scalloped Ebony fingerboard, small pearloid dot inlays and a 1 5/8” locking metal nut. Grover tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Seymour Duncan Cool Rails pickup in the neck, unknown brand model SES pickup in the middle and an Iguana guitars humbucker in the bridge. Master push/pull volume and tone controls with coil splitting for the neck and bridge and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 11.26K Ohms.
Middle: 7.64K Ohms.
Bridge: 13.20K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 10.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a versatile, smooth playing guitar. The pickups and controls offer the player plenty of tonal options and the locking nut and bridge provide excellent intonation. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
