Description
Condition: Various surface scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the instrument. There is one deeper dent on the back of the lower treble side bout (see photos). There are also some light pick scratches on the pickguard. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. When we acquired this guitar, it was loaded with a different pickguard and pickups but had the current pickguard and pickups in the case. We had our luthier reinstall these pickups to bring the guitar back to Strat Plus spec. Two of the pots have been replaced, one of the originals is included in the case. Because the pickups and pickguard were included in the case, we cannot guarantee they were original to this guitar, however they are the correct components for a Strat Plus. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in Lake Placid Blue finish. Modern-style two-point tremolo bridge, 3-ply parchment pickguard, skirted parchment control knobs and a vibrato arm.
Neck: Slender maple neck with maple fingerboard, black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” Wilkinson Split Nut. Locking tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Lace Sensor Gold single coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.40K Ohms.
Middle: 5.43K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.42K Ohms.
Weight: 8lbs, 6.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding Strat Plus. The Gold Lace Sensor pickups sound beautiful and the TBX tone control offers the player some versatility. The slender neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes hardshell Fender Case. Some of the original papers are included in the case.
