Description
What makes this guitar special: A slick, quick playing MIJ Strat with a thin, wide neck profile and dynamite playability. The Floyd Rose locking tremolo system ensures that you can wail away to your hearts content without going out of tune, while the single coil pickups in tandem with a DiMarzio humbucker provide a full-throttle, meaty sound. Professionally inspected and setup by our expert in house luthiers, this guitar will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Good shape for its age, with some typical wear & tear throughout. There are various light scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs present, with a handful of small dings on the back of the neck and some associated finish wear from years of playing. The top shows one notable chip behind the bridge, and there is some minor tarnishing present on the hardware.
Body: Contoured double cutaway solid alder body in candy apple red finish with 3-ply white pickguard. Floyd Rose tremolo bridge and chrome hardware.
Weight: 7 lb, 4.4 oz
Neck: Thin maple neck with pearl side dots, pearl dot inlays, and rosewood skunk stripe. Locking nut measures 1 11/16”. 25 1/2" scale length. Vintage style tuners work great. Rosewood fingerboard is in good shape, and frets have plenty of life left. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.
Electronics: HSS configuration (Neck-5.85k ohms, Middle-5.61k ohms), with DiMarzio humbucker in the bridge position (24.62k ohms). 5-way pickup selector switch and white skirted knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume. Input jack is a little stiff, but functions normally.
Case: Fender hard shell case included.
