What makes this guitar special: Modeled after one of the most iconic guitars in rock n’ roll history and loaded with premium features, this Lucille model has tons of tonal variance and positively stellar playability. The slim tapered neck profile is quick and comfortable, especially in conjunction with the ebony fingerboard. The semi-hollow design is extremely resonant as well, allowing for ample sustain. As with all our pieces, it has been professionally setup and inspected by our in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused, with some honest wear throughout for a 25 year old guitar. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs present, with a handful of areas of light finish wear present. The back of the body shows some surface level buckle rash, and there is visible tarnishing on much of the hardware. There is some typical light binding & inlay shrinkage, but nothing that hinders playability. For its age, this one is an 8.5/10.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body finished in black with no f-holes. Multi-ply white binding, black pickup bezels, and 5-ply black pickguard. Gold Tune-O-Matic bridge and TP-6 stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 9 lb, 14.6 oz
Neck: Nicely rounded solid maple neck with black side dots and pearl block inlays. Bound ebony fingerboard is in excellent shape, and while frets show wear consistent with age, they still have quite a bit of life in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Bound headstock with pearl Gibson & Lucille logos. Gold B.B. King truss rod cover, and gold Gibson tuners in perfect working condition. Neck is straight and truss rod is functional.
Electronics: Dual Gibson USA humbuckers (Neck-7.64k ohms, Bridge-8.17k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch, 5-way Varitone knob, and black tophat knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included. The case is in pretty good shape its age, however, the locking mechanism is broken.
