Description

What makes this bass special: 100% original with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe. Oh yeah, it also plays & sounds great too! Featuring a Coke bottle headstock, kidney 'guard & finished in classic copper. This gorgeous Shorthorn is a definite must-have for any vintage gear nut or bass aficionado. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - just the way we like 'em: various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.

Neck: Nicely rounded poplar neck with a beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & white dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Coke bottle headstock with open-back strip tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" width metal nut; 30" scale length.

Body: Shorthorn poplar & masonite body in copper finish. Top-loading tailpiece with simple wooden bridge & Kidney pickguard. Bass weighs 5 lbs 14 oz.

Electronics: Single coil Lipstick pickup with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with cupcake knobs. Pots date to '60 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included - now how cool is that!
