Description
Cosmetic Condition: A great modified player's guitar with a cool vintage vibe! Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish blemishes. The original cherry finish has faded into brown, although you can still see remnants of the cherry in certain spots, particularly under the pickguard & a little on the back.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Unoriginal Grover Rotomatic tuners in perfect working condition. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Solid mahogany body; original stopbar tailpiece with adjustable bridge; single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 6lbs 14oz.
Pickups: Unoriginal Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The pickup cavities were routed a bit to fit the full-size humbuckers. Neck is a Duncan Custom - 13.06K ohms; Bridge is a JBL - 15.62K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. Unoriginal pots date to '97 with filter caps added; unoriginal Chandler back cover. 3-way pickup selector switch with unoriginal kill switch & 3-way tone filter switch.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - the guitar has been set up by our tech with a fresh set of .10-.46 gauge D'Addario strings. Smooth playing neck is very comfortable; killer humbucker tones! The after-market tone switch acts a lot like the 3-way tone switch on a Gretsch.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
