Description

A fun, little archtop offering a powerful, punchy voice. Featuring a carved spruce top for a rich, sparkling tone & V-shaped neck for ultimate comfort. Professionally set up so it plays & sounds wonderful.

Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. The back body binding shrunk over the years & needed to be reglued. The heel cap has warped somewhat & is no longer flush with neck heel. The Epiphone headstock logo has worn off. Overall the guitar has a cool, true vintage look to it with a great vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-gear strip tuners work fine. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is pretty straight & plays well up & down the fretboard. There is a truss rod in the neck, but it's more or less maxed out & doesn't really do much.

Body: Double-bound archtop with carved spruce top & dual F-holes. Nickel trapeze tailpiece & compensated rosewood bridge on a floating base. Tortoise pickguard with faded "E" emblem. Mahogany back & sides with arched back. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.1 oz.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
