Description
Very similar to Steve Marriott's early '60s Dwight model, this killer sounding Coronet plays & sounds absolutely fantastic! Basically Epiphone's version of the Gibson Junior, featuring a thinner, solid mahogany body & "dog-eared" P-90 single coil bridge pickup. The wide mahogany neck is very comfortable & plays great up & down the fretboard. Professionally set up by our own tech & ready for action straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an ultra cool vintage vibe - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Wide profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Symmetrical solid mahogany body with newer compensated, wrap-around bridge. The original bridge is included with the guitar. Replacement WD 3-ply white pickguard with silver "E" emblem. There are extra screw holes in the body under the guard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 1.1 oz.
Electronics: Original P-90 single coil with black "dog-ear" cover - 8.56K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
Case: Original chipboard case included.
