Description
An excellent player's grade Casino & somewhat of an anomaly as well - we noticed there's actually a sound block inside the body, and it appears to be original to the guitar rather than something that was added later - kind of a head scratcher. All of the hardware has been changed as well as the pickups (switched to full size Epiphone humbuckers). But the finish & frets are original. A cool player with a groovy vibe, professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish blemishes.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal Grover tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Unoriginal trapeze tailpiece & brass bridge with adjustable saddles. Pickguard is missing & the guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.2 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal full-size Epiphone humbuckers with cream bezels. Bridge - 7.73K ohms; Neck - 7.49K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with unoriginal gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
