Description
Made for a brief moment in the late '70s, this cool looking SC450 features a solid maple body with scroll bass horn & loaded with a pair of muscular sounding DiMarzio humbuckers with coil tapping. Professionally inspected & set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty nice shape for a roughly 40-year old guitar. Some nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Elongated headstock with mother of pearl Epiphone inlay. Chrome sealed tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" width brass nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Solid maple body with beveled edge & scroll bass horn. Stop tailpiece & Adjusto-Matic bridge with chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 7.5 oz.
Electronics: Dual DiMarzio humbuckers with cream bezels. Both pickups are pretty evenly matched at about 7.98K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. 3-way pickup selector & 2-way mini toggle for coil tapping. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
