Description
100% original & in really nice shape for being close to 60 years old. The Royal Olive finish is such a cool color & shows off the maple's natural grain. Beautiful acoustic tone with a warm, rich resonance. Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition with some mild play wear typical of its age - various little nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking throughout. The bottom portion of the tailpiece has oxidized & tarnished with some pitting. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl oval inlays. Frets are in great shape with just a little wear & plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners work perfectly. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with Florentine cutaway & dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge on a floating rosewood base. 3-ply white pickguard with silver "E" emblem. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 3.8 oz.
Pickup: Mini humbucker with black bezel & nickel cover - 7.40K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Newer Epiphone hardshell case included.
