Description
A vintage 1968 drip edge Fender Bassman amp. An early transitional Silverface, these amps are a great bargain for those players looking for a boutique-quality, hand-wired amp without the boutique or Blackface price. There is one small mod; the bias section has been converted to the pre-CBS global bias--far superior to the bias balance circuit that CBS implemented as a cost-cutting measure. Otherwise, the amp is largely original with only a few minor maintenance changes. This Bassman has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
