Description
A very exciting Coronado II that's completely original & finished in a stunning, highly sought-after Antigua. Despite the play wear on the body, the finish is still quite bold & vibrant & has not faded too much over the decades. The pickups sound marvelous & deliver crystal clear tones that ring for days. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's guaranteed to play great upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an ultra cool, true vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has wonderful appeal & a beautiful patina.
Neck: Rounded C-shape maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Grover Pat Pend tuners with pearloid buttons. There's a tiny crack in the neck just below the low E tuner. 1 9/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod function fine. Neck stamp is faded, but appears to date to '71.
Body: Double-cutaway, hollow maple body with bound F-holes. Tremolo tailpiece with height-adjustable bridge & six "barrel" saddles. Unfortunately the pickguard is missing & the trem arm is an unoriginal replacement. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 12.7 oz.
Electronics: DeArmond single coil pickups with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Epiphone hardshell case included.
