Cosmetic Condition: Authentic vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish checking. Overall the guitar has a great look to is & is all original with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Gorgeous flame maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 22 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date is 9 OCT 64 A.
Body: Offset, double-cutaway solid body finished in red. Top-loading bridge with three adjustable saddles. 3-ply pearloid pickguard in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 5lbs 13.5oz.
Pickups: Original single coils with master volume & tone controls - both pots date to '64. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Despite its short scale, the guitar plays exceptionally well & the neck is very comfortable. The pickups deliver clear tones & the electronics offer a nice array of dynamic sounds.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
