Description
An excellent player's grade Jaguar due to the body finish being stripped off. The original finish was Olympic White as evidenced by the remaining finish on the headstock & body cavities. The rest of the guitar is all original & has been professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good condition overall with some general, mild play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool vibe to it & feels great.
Neck: C-shape maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners & single string tree. Original Olympic White finish on the front of the headstock & the remaining decal is very clean. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 1 MAR 64 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body stripped down to natural finish. Tremolo tailpiece with original trem arm. Adjustable bridge with six individual "barrel" saddles. Bridge cover is missing & the mute pad has hardened a bit. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5.9 oz.
Electronics: Original Jaguar single coils with staggered poles; rhythm & lead circuits. Dual control wheels for individual volume & tone in rhythm circuit. 3 individual switches in lead circuit. Master volume & tone controls Pots date to '64 and all electronics are fully functional.
Case: Vintage 1960's Fender hardshell case included.
