A true vintage beauty in classic black finish that plays great. The silky smooth neck is very comfortable & the double pickups deliver those righteous Jazz Bass tones. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear/blemishes.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bullet truss rod & round string tree. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. Fender open-gear clover tuners. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in black finish. Top-loading bridge with unoriginal "barrel" saddles. 3-ply black pickguard with tugbar. Bass weighs 10 lbs 10.6 oz.
Electronics: Original Jazz Bass single coils date to '78. Dual volume & master tone controls with black skirted knobs. The neck volume pot was replaced with a CTS that dates to '87, but the other two pots date to '78 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included with replacement handle.
