Description
An excellent player's grade Jazz Bass in original Blonde finish. The bass sports a pair of Bartolini pickups along with a high-mass Badass Bass II bridge & brass nut. A dynamite player with a great sound & pro set up.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. There's some discoloration in the blonde finish here & there, but nice variegation throughout. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a cool vibe.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bullet truss rod & round string tree. Fender open-gear tuners work great & headstock decals are clean. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in original Blonde finish. Unoriginal, top-loading Badass Bass II bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard is missing its tugbar. Both the chrome bridge & pickup covers are missing. Bass weighs a whopping 11 lbs 15.1 oz - it's a hefty one!
Electronics: Unoriginal Bartolini passive single coils. Dual volume & master tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Later-period Fender hardshell case included.
