A really great player's grade Jazz Bass with wonderful tone & feel. The passive Bartolini pickups sound marvelous & deliver warm, rich tones. The neck is straight & very comfortable to play anywhere on the fretboard. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some mild finish wear. There are some filled holes in the back of the body just below the neck plate & a small screw hole in the headstock where a previous string tree existed. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a cool vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with plenty of life in them. Bullet truss rod & single round string tree. Open-back nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Unoriginal neck plate with no serial number.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. Unoriginal 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Bass weighs 10.6 lbs.
Electronics: Unoriginal Bartolini passive Jazz Bass pickups. Bridge - 6.46K ohms; Neck - 5.84K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls. Pots date to '74 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Fender hardshell case included.
