An excellent player's grade Musicmaster due to the body finish being stripped off down to natural & then over-sprayed. Featuring a short scale length with a single pickup for a spartan playing experience. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds nice.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners with cream buttons & single string tree. 1 1/2" nut width; 22 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads MAY 62 A.
Body: Offset, solid poplar body stripped down to a natural finish. Top-loading bride with three adjustable threaded saddles & single-ply white pickguard. Guitar weighs a delightful 5 lbs 10.5 oz & is exceptionally resonant.
Electronics: Single coil neck pickup with brown cover. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '61 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original leather strap.
