Description
A dynamite player, this ultra cool Mustang is finished in Red & sports a silky smooth neck with rosewood fretboard. These have always been a big favorite here at Cream City Music & thanks to a pro set up from our in-house tech, it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & has a true vintage vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. F-logo tuners with cream buttons & single string tree. 1 5/8" nut width with replacement nut; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 16 AUG 66 B.
Body: Offset, solid poplar body finished in Red. Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece with unoriginal trem arm included. Adjustable bridge with "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover included. 3-ply white pearloid pickguard has a chip out of one corner on the treble side. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 1.9 oz.
Electronics: Dual single coils with black covers. Master volume & tone controls with black knobs. Both slider switches work fine. Pots date to '66 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. A bit tattered, but serves its purpose well.
