Description
An ultra cool second-year Mustang refinished in white & sporting a silky smooth neck that plays great up & down the fretboard. These have always been a favorite here at Cream City Music & thanks to a pro set up from our in-house specialist, it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear for a 55-year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & has an ultra cool, true vintage vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Fender F-tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 8 DEC 65 B.
Body: Offset, solid poplar body refinished in white. Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece with the original adjustable bridge & "barrel" saddles. Original 3-ply white pearloid pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 15 oz.
Electronics: Original grey bottom single coils with black covers. Master volume & tone controls with selector switches. Pots appear to be original & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case with newer trem arm included.
