Description
A dynamite player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe, finished in Olympic White. Excellent weight & very resonant with a rich, robust tone. Professionally set up & ready to for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. Fender open-gear nickel tuners work great. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Olympic White. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. The original 3-ply black pickguard had a small section missing down by the input jack, so there is a currently a replacement on the bass, but the original is included. The bridge cover, pickup cover & tugbar are missing. Bass weighs 8 lbs 13 oz.
Electronics: Split single-coil pickup with black cover - 10.32K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. The volume pot is a DiMarzio, but the tone pot appears to be original. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case is a bit rough, but serves its purpose well.
