Description

An excellent player's grade P-Bass due to the body finish being stripped off down to natural. Great feel, rich tone & a dynamite player thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.

Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great vibe to it with a nice patina.

Neck: Maple neck with dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-gear nickel tuners work great. Headstock decal is in great shape with no bits missing. 1 11/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 5 JAN 67 C.

Body: Contoured, solid alder body in a stripped, natural finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles & original bridge cover. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & has its original tug-bar. Bass weighs 8 lbs 9.2 oz. Great weight!

Electronics: Split single coil with original cover - 10.78K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '66 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included - a bit rough, but serves its purpose well.
