A dynamite player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! The wine red finish has aged beautifully over the years & mellowed into more of a raspberry color. The neck is very comfortable & plays great anywhere on the fretboard. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decal is clean with no bits missing. Fender open-gear "clover" tuners & round string tree. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body finished in trans wine red that has faded into more of a lighter raspberry color. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. 3-ply black pickguard with tugbar. Bass weighs 10 lbs 2.5 oz.
Electronics: Split single coil with black covers & gray bottoms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pickup & pots date to '79 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There's a volcano scene painted on the outside of the case which is pretty cool looking.
