Description
An absolutely gorgeous, true vintage '74 Strat that's 100% original! Superb tone & a great weight - 7 lbs 3.7 oz! Exceptionally resonant with a tight neck/body connection. The three staggered single coils still have their original 3-way selector & deliver clear, bell-like tones that ring for days! Super comfy neck that plays like butter up & down the fretboard. This is a dynamite guitar that will not last long in the shop so don't hesitate to grab this beauty!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents, dings & scratches. Overall the guitar has an authentic vintage look to it with an ultra cool vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black dot inlays. Typical small frets show just a tiny bit of wear & have plenty of life in them. Oversize headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. Headstock decals are clean with no bits missing. F-tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & original trem arm included. 3-ply white pickguard has aged nicely into more of a cream color & is in great shape with no cracks. Same with the back trem cover. Guitar weighs a delightful 7 lbs 3.7 oz.
Electronics: Original grey bottom single coils with staggered poles. All three pickups date to '74. Bridge - 6.08K ohms; Middle - 6.11K ohms; Neck - 6.18K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with 3-way selector switch. Pots date to '74 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
