Description
An excellent player's grade Tele Bass refinished in a beautiful & always classic Candy Apple Red. The neck is straight & true & plays great up & down the fretboard. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready for you straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with a cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Single round string tree, although there are two filled holes in the front of the headstock most likely from previous string trees. Original Fender open-gear tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width with unoriginal brass nut; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 23 MAY 69 C.
Body: Solid alder body refinished in Candy Apple Red. Unoriginal bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. Unoriginal 4-ply tortoise pickguard. There was a route underneath the pickguard for a humbucker that was professionally filled when the bass was refinished. It looks very clean & is hardly noticeable. Obviously it's not noticeable at all when the pickguard is on. Bass weighs 11.30 lbs.
Electronics: Unoriginal BassLines single coil pickup - 11.70K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots are unoriginal & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Fender tweed hardshell case included.
