Description
An excellent player's grade Tele offering wonderful playability, tone & feel. The guitar has been professionally refretted & at one point the body was routed for a humbucker in the bridge position & probably a Strat single coil in the neck. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to groove straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. Professionally refretted with bigger frets that show no wear & unoriginal nut. Original Fender F-tuners with single string tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck dates to '71.
Body: Solid alder body in original Blonde finish with routes in both pickup cavities. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles. Bridge cover is missing. 3-ply white pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.5 oz.
Electronics: Original bridge single coil & unoriginal neck single coil with newer 3-way selector switch. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Newer pots & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
