Description
An excellent player's grade Tele Custom due to the body finish being completely stripped off, leaving a natural, satin look. The neck & pickups are still original, and thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, the guitar is ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some mild finish wear. The body finish has of course been removed, but the rest of the guitar still maintains its original integrity. Cool, vintage vibe with a great look & nice patina.
Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but still have life in them. Bullet truss rod & double string trees. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. Original F-tuners work great. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp dates to 1975.
Body: Solid ash body with the original finish completely stripped off down to a bare, natural satin. String-thru bridge with six adjustable mini "barrel" saddles. 3-ply black pickguard & brass strap buttons. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 9.5 oz.
Electronics: Single coil bridge pickup - 6.98K ohms & Wide Range neck humbucker - 10.72K ohms, with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. Two pot codes can be read, which date to '75, but the other two codes are covered. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included - a bit rough, but still does the job.
