Description
An excellent player's grade Tele due to a complete refin with some unoriginal parts. Despite the mods, the guitar has a cool vibe to it & plays great thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: The neck has been completely oversprayed. Maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Single string tree & F-logo tuners. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine. Neck stamp reads 3 FEB 68 B.
Body: The body has been completely refinished. Solid ash body in natural finish. There are extra holes in the top from a previous Bigsby & bridge plate. Unoriginal string-thru bridge with three adjustable saddles. Unoriginal 3-ply white pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.8 oz.
Electronics: Tele single coils appear to be original. Rewound bridge - 6.46K ohms; neck - 4.35K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Later period pots & all electronics are in good working condition.
