Description
A vintage 1971 Fender Vibrolux Reverb 2x10 tube combo amp in player-grade condition. This amp came to us partially-modded to the 60s Blackface circuit, so instead of returning it to the less-desirable early-70s circuit, we took it the rest of the way. The circuit now matches that of the pre-CBS AA964 amp. To keep the voltages consistent with those of the 60s version we've retained the 5U4 rectifier, but you could easily switch to a 5AR4 with a re-rebias.
Early Silverface Fenders are a great bargain for those players looking for a boutique-quality, handwired amp without the boutique or Blackface price. It has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds incredible. Includes original footswitch.
