Description
Built during a roughly ten-year period from about 1965 until 1975, this neat looking Caravelle features a semi-hollow thinline body with tremolo & fitted with a pair of cool sounding single coils. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking. There's an extra screw hole in the bass-side horn from a previous strap button & the headstock logo is peeling a little bit, but overall the guitar has an authentic vintage look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Somewhat chunky laminated neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-back strip tuners in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, semi-hollow maple body with bound top & simulated F-hole. Tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge. 3-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 9.8 oz.
Electronics: Two single coils with 5-ply black bezels. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
