A lovely sounding mandolin manufactured in Gibson's heyday, producing a rich, robust voice with a beautiful acoustic resonance. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are top & back cracks that have been professionally glued by us & the pickguard is missing.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-gear strip tuners with white buttons. 1 3/16" nut width; 14" scale length.
Body: A-style body in natural finish. Solid spruce top with dual F-holes & cream binding. Nickel tailpiece & compensated rosewood bridge. Again, the pickguard is missing. Solid mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the mandolin weighs 1 lb 13.8 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included with replacement handle.
