100% original & just recently acquired from the original owner. A great player with a gorgeous voice - bright & punchy sounding with a rich, ringing chime. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical mild play wear for its age - various minor nicks, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking. There are three top cracks - two towards the bottom, bass side & one next to the neck, also bass side. The cracks are unrepaired, but are all fairly superficial & do not affect playablity or sound quality. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it, with a great, true vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Wide profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners work great. 2" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 3-ply binding. Chrome trapeze tailpiece & rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. Single-ply black pickguard screwed to the top & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 4.9 oz.
