Description
A vintage 1952 Gibson BR-9 tube combo amp in very nice condition for its age. Originally offered as a matching amp to the BR-9 lapsteel, this amp features a simple one-knob format and a great clean tone. With its low-gain, single-pentode preamp, the amp stays clean-ish up to '10' with most single coil pickups. A little more grit is available with higher output pickups. The preamp feeds two single-ended parallel 6V6s, running in class A for plenty of warm harmonics. This amp will be great for practice or low-volume recording. It has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds great.
