These semi-hollow basses are always so much fun to play, partly due to their short scale, but also because of the bouncy, acousticness of the body coupled with the warm, rich tone from the neck humbucker. You could literally just sit & play for hours, they're so much fun. This one is very resonant & sports a chunky profile neck that plays great up & down the fretboard. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a cool, vintage vibe with a nice patina.
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear & are in great shape overall. Open-back nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Chrome-plated bridge with 5-ply black pickguard. Bass weighs 8 lbs 13.4 oz.
Electronics: Neck humbucker with master volume & tone controls. The baritone switch is a replacement, but functions perfectly.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
