Description
What makes this guitar special: An absolutely fantastic playing ES-150 with wonderful feel & gorgeous tone. The guitar has a beautiful, natural acoustic resonance to it, but once you plug in & let the P-90 take over, all the warmth & richness comes out, making it difficult to walk away from this one. In short, it's everything you could ever hope for in a big, 17" hollow body at an affordable price. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's guaranteed to play perfectly straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for being 64 & displaying an authentic vintage look. There's mild, honest play wear to mention - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some light finish wear. Overall the guitar has a superb vibe & shows of a beautiful patina.
Neck: One-piece, chunky mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Original frets show hardly any wear & have tons of life in them. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners with replacement buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The top is finished in 3-tone sunburst & shows off some really pretty birdseye figuring. Nickel trapeze tailpiece & compensated rosewood bridge on a floating base. 5-ply long black pickguard & an unoriginal black strap button in the neck heel. 17" lower bout width; 12 3/4" upper bout width; 3 1/4" depth. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 8.3 oz.
Electronics: 1 P-90 single coil pickup with black "dog ear" cover & adjustable pole pieces - 7.64K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original brown hardshell case included. The case is a bit rough & shows some wear & tear, but is solid through & through.
