Description

What makes this guitar special: A smooth, comfortable player with a warm, rich tone & gorgeous acoustic resonance. The placement of the P-90 in the middle of the body where a natural harmonic occurs allows the guitar to produce some interesting overtones at times. Professionally set up & inspected by the experts at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds marvelous.

Cosmetic Condition: Really wonderful condition for being nearly 60 years old. Various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has an ultra cool, vintage vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck: 1-piece, chunky mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes & Florentine cutaway. Unoriginal chrome trapeze tailpiece with original nickel base. Compensated ebony bridge on a floating base. 5-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 9.5 oz.

Electronics: 1 P-90 single coil pickup with black "dog ear" cover - 7.88K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Later-period Gibson hardshell case included.
