Description

Woody, resonant tone with a slender neck makes for a comfortable playing experience. A pair of creamy sounding humbuckers & six-way rotary Varitone rounds out the package. Professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds marvelous.

Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for a guitar its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & mild finish wear. Much of the gold has tarnished & worn off the hardware, but that only adds to the vintage charm. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic, true vintage vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: Slender mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots.
Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Stereo logo on truss rod cover.

Body: Double-cutaway, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Original trapeze tailpiece with ABR-1 bridge & gold hardware. The guitar previously had a Bigsby on it as evidenced by the extra holes in the top. There's also an extra screw hole in the bass-side horn from a previous strap button. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4.6 oz.

Pickups: Gibson Pat No humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.22K ohms; Neck - 7.66K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black 'witch hat' knobs. 3-way toggle switch; 6-way Veritone rotary knob; stereo output. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.

Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
