Description

A silky smooth player with superb tone & feel. The double humbuckers sound marvelous & deliver warm, rich tones with incredible sustain. The Stereo output & 6-way Varitone selector provides the player with a wide array of tonal possibilities. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action upon arrival.

Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for being close to 50 years old. The walnut finish on the body has faded considerably to more of a light caramel color with some variegation under the pickguard. However, the neck still retains most of its darker walnut color. There are some minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches & weather checking, but really for the most part the guitar looks quite clean.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & small side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with very little wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Kluson "waffle back" tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Semi-hollow maple body with bound F-holes. Multi-layer binding on the top & back. Maestro tremolo bridge & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. Unoriginal tortoise pickguard. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 3.5 oz.

Electronics: Dual Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. 3-way toggle switch & 6-way Varitone selector. Stereo output with vintage stereo cable included. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: More modern Gibson hardshell case included along with original Gibson booklet & stereo cable.
