This gorgeous example from 1990 is no exception & exemplifies all that is cool about the Firebird. An absolutely superb player loaded with a pair of dynamic & muscular sounding mini humbuckers that really deliver the goods. Cosmetic Condition: Great shape considering it's 35 years old! Various tiny nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches. There's a tiny crack in the pickguard near one of the screws. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & has a great vibe to it.
Neck: Slender mahogany & walnut neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Reverse headstock with "banjo" tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Neck-thru design with solid mahogany wings. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. 3-ply white pickguard with red Firebird logo. There's an extra strap button in the neck heel. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5 oz.
Electronics: Two mini humbuckers with chrome bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original COA - now how cool is that!
