Description
A vintage 1959 Gibson GA-18T Explorer tube combo amp. The amp came to us with all-original circuitry but with a crumbling speaker cone and missing the original hard-wired footswitch. We have since had the speaker re-coned at a world-class re-coner and replaced the footswitch. Additionally, the electrolytic capacitors and power cord have been replaced.
Sound-wise, the amp features a great clean tone and a thick overdrive when pushed--not to mention a gorgeous-sounding all-tube tremolo. It has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds absolutely fantastic.
