Description
A killer LP Custom showing off tons of super cool, true vintage mojo! A dynamite player with a silky smooth neck and loaded with a pair of awesome sounding T-Top humbuckers that deliver exquisite tones! In short, this is a badass guitar, professionally set up and ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash & some mild finish wear. Some of the gold hardware has tarnised & there's some pitting in the tuner buttons. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: 3-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets are in good condition with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Gibson diecast tuners work great. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap. Multi-layer binding on the top & back. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Unoriginal strap buttons & poker chip around the toggle switch. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 4.2 oz. She's a hefty gal, but exceptionally resonant.
Electronics: Gibson T-Top humbuckers with exposed coils. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Unable to read all the pot codes, but one appears to date to '74. All the electronics are original & in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
